Lucy + Yak / Black Cats

Over on the fabulous Luck + Yak instagram/website they have launched an awesome dreamy competition where you can design your own dream yaks! Click here if you fancy having a go during these lockdown days. My dream yaks would definitely be cat pattered ones. I wish they were real, I'd absolutely wear them everyday! Unfortunately they only available in my dreams... but they are based on my pink and black cat show pillows, pictured below and available in real life from my shop!

Collaboration with Earthy Roots

Here are a selection of prints I illustrated for Earthy Roots. Bees are in decline and I wanted to create something where 50% of the profits go towards helping a sustainable company, like Earthy Roots nourish the bees, through their bee keeping on various sites in Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. 50% of all sales will go directly to them which will help them to expand their apiary's and sustainable business. Monkeys at Modern Painters, New Decorators.

Remember my Lion Tamarin monkey plushes/pillows/toys/objects? Well, I recently shipped off some to Modern Painters, New Decorators a fab shop in Loughborough. They are currently running a Winter Shop Pop-up with lots of amazing handmade items from local makers. It is open until the 23rd Dec and all the information is on the facebook page, where you can browse their stock! I can't wait to visit (watch out purse!) and I'll share photos once I do. 

I have also found out that these lovely lion-looking monkeys are endangered, so for every sale I will be sending 10% of the sale to the WWF to help all endangered animals like these guys.

Each monkey is made by hand and individual. There are some available in my etsy.

Halloween is coming!

I just LOVE Halloween! I just love the imagery, the dark nights, the oranges and reds. I love blasting out AFI and Misfits, crunching through leaves. I love bobbing apples, carving pumpkins, making ghost bunting. I keep Halloween decorations up all year round. If you've been following me for a while, you know this. Every year I try and add some Halloween inspired creations into my shop. This year, I restocked the cards, tattoos and bunting which I've had available for a couple of years and added these notebooks: 

I also made some home decorations, including this super super soft, velveteen crescent moon pillow. I have an extra one for myself because they are just so nice to cuddle and they look ace around the house:

Annnd, some round pumpkin pillows, fun cat round pillows too, which I had fun photographing in my studio:
